We bring the joy, beauty, and health benefits of ballet to people of all ages and abilities through thoughtfully designed programs.
At Ballet4Wellbeing, we bring the joy, beauty, and health benefits of ballet to people of all ages and abilities through thoughtfully designed programs. Our classes range from gentle seated sessions that release tension, build strength, improve circulation, and reduce fall risks, to more active classes with barre and centre work that enhance posture, balance, and coordination. Music supports every class, adding rhythm and flow to the movements while encouraging focus, memory, and relaxation.
For those with Mild Cognitive Impairment, early-stage Alzheimer’s, or Dementia, our tailored sessions use structured movement and cross-lateral patterns to support both body and mind, with familiar melodies helping to spark positive memories and connection.
Physically able participants can enjoy modified ballet exercises at the barre, while our innovative 15-minute Virtual Reality program immerses individuals in a 360-degree ballet experience that enhances cognitive engagement and emotional well-being. Whether seated, standing, or virtually transported, each class is designed to inspire, strengthen, and uplift.
The B4W METHOD fosters a sense of community and social engagement in aged care settings. Music, with its universal appeal, encourages residents to connect with one another through shared rhythms and melodies, enhancing social bonds and offering a sense of belonging. This shared experience can turn the exercise sessions into meaningful, uplifting moments that improve overall well-being.
Through the use of ballet and music as forms of physical and mental exercise, our method promotes a more positive outlook on aging, helping participants feel more vibrant, connected, and empowered.
With Sandy Delasalle and Aurelien Scannella bringing over 35 years of experience as professional ballet dancers, ballet teachers, choreographers, and artistic directors, their expertise shines through in this new seated ballet method"..

Immerse yourself in beautiful music with gentle exercise, you will move as you may not have done for years. The sessions definitely improved my mood.
